I’m still gutted about this—as are many in the health freedom community. So many tributes, so much outpouring of grief.
I’ve wanted to send a message about her life and legacy for several days and while it’s no excuse, time seems to be
spinning faster and I’m just getting around to it.
Today is her birthday. And tomorrow is her memorial service, which will be livestreamed. Info below.
This force of nature was a friend. She helped me launch Coaches for Health Freedom and was on my advisory council. We texted
pretty regularly, and more so in her final weeks.
Her last text to me was, "Keep praying." 😞
From CHD’s tribute: (please watch the short but powerful and moving video at this link)
“I lost him that night.
“I chose to use my son’s life and what had happened to him to save other people’s children. That is my life’s work.
“The lives of millions of children depend on what we do today. I do what I do because it’s the right thing to do.”
“Sheila was the
embodiment of the Warrior Mom. The task of caring for her injured son consumed her life. Yet she somehow managed to find equivalent energies to fight for justice ... and protect other families from injury.” – Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
So many are wondering about her son, Temple, and her husband, Ron.
The best thing we
can do for this amazing family right now is to donate to help them pay for Sheila's memorial service.
From the GiveSendGo page:
"Sheila's family needs our
help. The fight for her life took everything she had—physically, emotionally, and financially. Her family needs help with funeral and burial expenses. They also need help just to make it through the next phase as they grieve and try to figure out what life will be like without her."
